The Challenge:

NCBA CLUSA is the oldest not-for-profit cooperative development and trade association in the United States. They foster cooperative and international economic and social development in the United States and abroad. Their mission is to develop, advance, and protect cooperative enterprise; highlighting the impact that cooperatives have in the economic success of communities around the world. Internationally, NCBA's mission is to alleviate poverty through economic and social empowerment.

MindActive's initial challenge was to reinvigorate the brand. We improved the logo and look of the organization to be more modern, the web and communications process more refined and the membership more engaged in events.

Details:

MindActive's team, rebuilt the website on a more manageable, modern and responsive CMS platform with the use of CiviCRM. This platform is a civic based membership management solution, integrated into the back office.

MindActive custom designed a workflow process to expedite the development of an e-newsletter. The creation of the newsletter is tied to the content of the website with a more streamlined automated process of publishing and broadcasting the information to members and to social media. The goal was to keep membership more informed and the communications team able to deliver great content to the website to support Advocacy, International programs, Co-op news and more.

Outcome:

In 2015, NCBA senior management engaged MindActive to provide technology assistance to aid efficiencies in the internal operations of the organization. This is a consultative on-going relationship that we continue to advance intranet communications using Sharepoint and again custom built tools that help the organization manage content. In addition, we built a mobile application to pull live website content updates into a news and event based mobile IOS and Android application.

Ongoing we help manage, update and support the hosting infrastructure for the organization through our partnerships with Rackspace, Microsoft and Google.
